The COVID Kid

High school is in the rearview mirror and college awaits when the pandemic explodes into the life of affable Texan Marshall Morris. At first, there is confusion, growing hysteria, with little accurate information as the dreaded COVID virus sweeps across the country. When the disease strikes him, he accepts the news with typical good cheer, until he becomes convinced he is a carrier transmitting it to others. He is deeply troubled and rallies against fellow young people who refuse to wear masks or conform to social distancing. While working at a local real estate company, he becomes an unwitting player in an international plot to inject an untested miracle cure for the COVID into infected patients in a local hospital. A shady doctor and wealthy playboy hatch the bizarre scheme. Nothing will stop Marshall when he discovers a surely fatal injection is to be given to his own mother. The hospital's COVID ward is a fortress. Can he penetrate it and get to her in time?
